To be a citizen-oriented agency providing a safe and secure community through constitutional, ethical and impartial enforcement of the Commonwealth of Kentucky laws and City of Barbourville ordinances tempered with reasonableness and compassion.

The Barbourville Police Department expects its officers to display personal and professional conduct that will not bring discredit to the City of Barbourville.  Maintain a local law enforcement agency to provide high quality, high technology services both inside our department and on our streets.
